What We Believe

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired by God and inerrant, of supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe the Scriptures have been preserved for the English-speaking people in the King James Version.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man; that He died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified by grace through faith apart from human works.

We believe in the Genesis account of creation, rejecting evolution; that man was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and must be born again.

We believe that all who by repentance and faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God, indwelt and sealed by the Spirit and secured unto the day of redemption.

We believe the Church of Jesus Christ is composed solely of believers, and that a visible church is a congregation of baptized believers observing the ordinances of Christ under pastors and deacons as defined in God's Word.

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord in the air for His saints, and in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Christ to the earth with His saints.

We believe the Scriptures teach every believer to live a life of separation unto the Lord from worldly and sinful practices, to abide in Christ, and to walk in the Spirit.
